Happy Friday friends! Kayleigh and I are back again with another life lately update, plus we are sharing our go-to home décor stores! How fun, right?
Life update: we found a house! After last week’s unfortunate news about another house we put an offer on, I’m happy to say that we found a new house and this time it feels right! We close on the condo today and then we’re renting back from the new owner until the new house is ready to close. It’s all happening so fast but I couldn’t be more excited to start our next chapter in a new house we’re already pretty smitten over. Stay tuned for more info and possibly some pictures of the new house – I kinda don’t want to share until things are final because you just never know but this time around there’s a lot less uneasiness and lingering concerns so I’m crossing my fingers everything go smoothly!
This week’s feature topic couldn’t have come at a better time. Although we’re preparing to moving into a new house and the majority of our home furnishings + home décor items are coming with us too, it’s always fun to reimagine your old items, in a new space, in a new way!
I’m hoping to take the new house in a new design direction so in addition to pinning all the things for the new house look + feel that inspire my design mind, these are my go-to resources when shopping for home décor:
A store I always, always check out when shopping for décor pieces because everything is well priced and tastefully curated. Sharing some of the items from H&M I’m eyeing for our future home.
TJ Maxx / HomeGoods (in store + online)
One of the things I love most about TJ Maxx & HomeGoods stores is the thrill of the hunt but now you can snag some of their very best offerings online. These are the best of the best!
I love everything that McGee & Co offers – the collection of curated home goods is classic and timeless and can fit into any home décor style effortlessly. Best part is – there’s a massive sidewalk sale going on now!
I could keep sharing my favorite home décor stores but I’m already eyeing several pieces from the round ups above for the new home. If you’d like to see where Kayleigh loves to shop for her home décor, be sure to check out here post here & you can always follow her on Instagram too!
See ya next week friends – we’re talking closet staples and it’s already shaping up to be a good one!
