I think it’s safe to say that Fall is my favorite time of year. I wish it was a bit cooler in CA this time of year, but I’ll take what I can get and just pretend I live somewhere “fallish” like Vermont! In years past, I’ve not done much Fall decorating and only focused on decorating for Halloween and Christmas but this year I’m trying to make a conscious effort to subtly acknowledge the change of seasons.
I’m taking a phased approach and am adding in lots of blankets, textural pillows, bringing out the candles, maybe a fall branch or two – anything that feels cozy and seasonal, I’m embracing and enjoying it. Even it it’s still 100+ here in California.
If you’re in the same seasonal craving boat that I’m in, I’ve rounded up a bunch of fall-feeling home décor items from some of my go-to shops.
